Rabbi Monczyk took Grades 6 and 7 to Eldridge Street Synagogue on the Lower East Side! It was a fascinating place to visit.
Grade 8 is enjoying their second day in Washington DC! We had a walking tour of the monuments, a private tour of the capitol, lunch in front of the White House and a visit to the National Archives!
Maish Goldish visited the Pre 1A to read some of his children's books and explain how he became an author!

Grades 4-6 went on a fabulous trip to Historic Richmond Town today! We learned all about Colonial Times in New York and visited many historic buildings!

Shulamith Students commemorated Yom HaZikaron yesterday. Two Chayelim came to speak with us about their experiences in the Israeli army and told powerful stories of their heroism.
Shulamith School for Girls of Brooklyn partnered with Project Witness to commemorate Yom Hashoah. Our middle schoolers participated in their “Passport Program” where they learned about children who perished during the Holocaust through their “Passports”. Thank you to Rabbi Monczyk for a powerful and important ceremony. @projectwitness
