Shulamith Students gathered together in a show of solidarity today for Israel, the Chayelim, the hostages and against anti-semitism. We watched the March in Washington, sang Hatikvah, said tehillim, ate blue and white cookies to make a bracha and say, "amen" and read the names of the 240 hostages. We pray for the safe return of each and every one of them and the safety of the soldiers keeping us safe.
Thank you to Karen Lerman from Project Witness who came to commemorate Kristallnacht with our middle schoolers. We are grateful for our partnership. This session is the beginning of our year long learning.
