MRS. LIZ LEVI

Mrs. Liz Levi

Executive Director

Liz Levi is the Executive Director of Shulamith and a proud alumnus. With nearly two decades of experience in Jewish education and philanthropy, Mrs. Levi stewards the schools daily operations, logistics, fundraising campaigns, and institutional development and works with the administration and Board of Directors to provide visionary leadership and oversight for the schools long-term planning and growth endeavors. Mrs. Levi's work also focuses on the development and implementation of strategic initiatives and programming to meet the current and future needs of the school to accentuate value for Shulamith's student body, parent body, alumni, and philanthropic partners. During her tenure, the school has continued to experience vibrant growth, including flourishing enrollment and an ever-expanding physical footprint. Before assuming her current position, Mrs. Levi served as the Director of Finance. Mrs. Levi earned her B.S. in Business Management & Finance from Brooklyn College. Prior to joining Shulamith, she worked for nearly a decade in various institutions in the education and finance sectors.

Mrs. Ana Mandelbaum

Mrs. Ana Mandelbaum

Principal, Grades 1-8

Ana Mandelbaum is a veteran teacher of 17 years in the NYC Department of Education and has assumed a variety of roles and taught a wide range of grades and subjects throughout her tenure. She was ranked as the top teacher of grades 3-5 in her school from 2007-2010 by the NYC Department of Education. She has also spent many years training and supporting teachers as an instructional coach, as well as tracking and measuring student progress as a school data specialist. Mrs. Mandelbaum received a B.A. in Psychology from Hunter College, a M.S. in Childhood Education from Brooklyn College, and a School Building Leader Administration Certificate from Baruch College, a certification completed in conjunction with the prestigious NYC Department of Education Leadership in Education Apprenticeship Program. She is thrilled to share new ideas, curriculum, and energy with the Shulamith community, building on its illustrious past and ushering it forward into its bright future. Mrs. Mandelbaum, her husband, and their two daughters live in Marine Park.

MRS. CAROLINE WILK

Mrs. Caroline Wilk

Director of Preschool, Director of Admissions

Mrs. Caroline Wilk grew up and was educated at the Hasmonean School and at university in England. She arrived in the U.S. in 1976 after spending 5 years in Israel working at Hebrew University Hadassah Medical School. She started at Shulamith in 1988 as a teacher and became the Early Childhood Director/ Director of Admissions in 2012.
