Saritte Wolkenstein is a practicing attorney. She earned her J.D. from Yeshiva University Cardozo School of Law and is admitted to practice in NY State. She earned her BA with a degree in Judaic Studies from Brooklyn College and received her Teacher’s certificate from the Michlalah Jerusalem College for Women. She is also a proud graduate of Shulamith’s elementary and high schools, and started teaching at Shulamith High School in 2015. Mrs. Wolkenstein is our mock trial coach and teaches the 12th grade A.P. United States Government course. Before coming to Shulamith, Mrs. Wolkenstein worked as an attorney for the Otsar Advocacy Project, helping children and their parents receive Board of Education assistance after being initally denied to them. She currently has a private practice specializing in family advocacy and helping families in the educational special education realm. Mrs. Wolkenstein spends her summers working at Camp Kaylie as a member of the day camp committee. It is her absolute pleasure and honor to teach at her alma mater.
